Day of the liberation of Baitul Muqaddas

On this day (October 2nd) in the year 1187, Salahuddin al-Ayyubi [may Allah have mercy on him] liberated Jerusalem from the hands of the Crusaders. With that, the 88 years of brutal oppression carried out by the Crusaders upon the Muslims came to an end.
